Born and raised in West Virginia. Drum major at Clay County High School. He was in the Army and the Coast Guard. In New Orleans, LA, he worked for and with his good friend and father figure, John, as a dairy delivery man in and aorund the city. He made many friends and close relationships with many on his route. He so Loved New Orleans, it's people and culture. He especially loved his family, Paul and Shelba Rogers (mom and dad), Norma, Amie and Paula ( sisters ) and Johnny ( brother ). He was close to his nephew and nieces.
